SRS Aviation recently ann-ounced that it has received FAA TSO certification for its onboard coffee maker Jet Java, for all fixed wing aircraft.
The coffee maker includes four different trays using K-cups®, coffee and tea, as well as one that provides hot water, with a 2½ minute brew time. Jet Java is a top-fill device with 14-ounce capacity and doesn’t require a potable water connection.
Operating on either 4 amp 110VAC or 12 amp 28VDC, the coffee maker is rail system mounted and approved for installation in the aircraft cabin or galley. SRS Aviation says it is the quickest, lowest cost installation in the industry.
